OBS Setup Transfer

# OBS Setup Transfer

**OBS Setup Transfer** is a free Windows utility from **TheBrokenJaw.com** that helps you back up, restore, and transfer your OBS Studio configuration.

Use it to protect your OBS setup before reinstalling Windows, replacing a computer, experimenting with new settings, or making major changes. You can also move a selected OBS profile and scene collection to another Windows computer using one portable `.obssetup` file.

## What Can It Be Used For?

### Back Up Your Own OBS Setup

Create a portable backup of your OBS profiles, scene collections, settings, hotkeys, layouts, and compatible plugin configuration. If something goes wrong or you need to reinstall OBS Studio, you can use the backup to restore your setup.

### Move OBS to Another Computer

Export your selected setup to one `.obssetup` file, save it to a USB drive or external drive, and import it on another Windows computer.
